A e dini pse vendoset patkoi në derë?

ARTIKULLI NE SHQIP ME POSHTE

Horse horseshoes, blue eyes and even garlic are often seen on the doors of houses

In our culture we encounter all sorts of symbols that hang on the walls or elsewhere with the thought that he / she will protect people from the evils of one of them is the horse horseshoe.

It is interesting that no one cares how the horseshoe should be placed upside down or upside down, whether it should be bought or found somewhere, or after it is placed in a certain place whether it should be touched or not.Horseshoe -over-the-Door-a-Talisman-for-good-luck-728 × 410

You’ve often seen a horse horseshoe placed on the door, in the car, or on the wall, but do you know why that remains ?!

He is said to have been able to ward off evil and protect himself from the evil eye. However, there is a story that explains how this symbolism has remained. The legend of the horse horseshoe is actually an old Christian story. It dates back to the 10th century, when a Nalban, who later became the bishop of Canterbury in England under the name of St. Dastin, managed to escape the devil's horseshoes. He prayed and begged Nalban to set him free. Legend has it that the devil was only released when he promised that he would never cross a door on which a horseshoe hung.

So from that period people started buying horseshoes even though they did not have horses and put them everywhere believing that the devil would not pass there first.

The horse horseshoe is widely known as a symbol of happiness. Due to the interconnectedness with horses, horseshoes represent strength and reliability. To the Greeks, a horseshoe symbolized fertility.

However, this is considered by other religions, especially Islam, as a superstition or vain belief, and even if a horseshoe would bring good luck and happiness, the horse will keep four and of course its fate is known.
